Class Descriptions
Gentle/Chair Yoga –
For students of all ages who have
physical conditions that may limit their ability to participate in strenuous exercise.
Students must be able to climb our stairs to come to class. (1hr 15 min)
Beginner’s
Yoga – For students new to yoga; covers basic philosophy of yoga, postures, and alignment (1 hr 15 min)
Moderate Yoga – For students of all levels who have completed at least one beginner’s
class (1 hr 15 min)
Vigorous Yoga– Advanced postures, breathing, meditation & philosophy (1 hr
30 min)
Deeper Yoga Practice – Asanas with more emphasis on breathing practice,
meditation, introspection, and study of yoga texts (1 hr 30 min)
Yoga with Mary –
A light-hearted approach to yoga
for students who have completed at least one Introductory class (1 hr 15 min)
Restorative Yoga
- Gentle stretching & breathing
in 3 - 4 restorative poses in which blankets, bolsters and cushions support the body to give a deep sense of relaxation and
renewal, reduces stress levels (1 hr 30 min)
Pilates – A total-body workout that helps students reshape their bodies, build core strength, and lose weight (1 hr)
